The DuPont™ Tyvek® APX™ 400 TA198S Hooded Coveralls - a new generation of Tyvek® for PPE. Heralding a new generation of disposable chemical protection garments, the new Tyvek® APX™ 400 overalls offer extreme breathability and comfort in the workplace without sacrificing protection, performance or durability. These innovative new chemical protective garments provide superior Type 5 and Type 6 protection against fine particles and low-level sprays. This combination of features makes the coveralls ideal for a wide range of roles. For example handling pharmaceuticals, chemical processing, cleaning and maintenance, and spray painting.

The Tyvek® APX™ 400 overalls feature a three piece hood designed for ease of head movement and compatibility with respirators. Elasticated face, wrists and ankles as well as glued-in waist elastic provide a secure, comfortable fit. The overalls also provide plenty of freedom of movement, with Tyvek® thumb loops to keep the sleeves in place during overhead and stretching movements. Easy to don and doff with a large, easy-to-grasp Tyvek® auto-locking zipper protected by a storm flap.

Lightweight, robust and extremely breathable all round, Tyvek® APX™ 400 overalls allow improved moisture evaporation and air circulation. The garments were tested in extremes of temperature and humidity, and from low work intensity to high levels of activity. During trials, wearers noticed and appreciated the high-breathability and comfort provided by Tyvek® APX™, especially in hot and humid environments.
