The Petzl Vertex Non-Vent Safety Helmet is a hugely popular helmet in the climbing world, used by rock climbers and other people in the sport. It has also become very popular in industry due to it's high safety specifications and qualities. For example, the Vertex non-vent helmet is now widely used by people who work in rigging, scaffolding and even roofing.

The helmet is comfortable to wear with a six-point textile suspension that is designed to adapt to the shape of the wearer's head. It features a CENTREFIT system, which allows the helmet to be centred precisely on the head. The FLIP&FIT system allows the helmet's headband to be set in a low position for a secure fit.

The Vertex non-vented helmet is designed and certified to offer protection for both work at height (EN 12492) and also work on the ground (EN 397). This is achieved through the use of the helmet's DUAL chinstrap, which can be adjusted for different environments. Adjusting the chinstrap for high strength reduces the risk of helmet loss while working at height. Adjusting it to low strength reduces the risk of strangulation due to snagging while working on the ground.

The helmet has an unventilated outer shell that protects from risks including electrical hazards, molten metal splashes and flames. It is also modular, and can be combined with a range of additional Petzl accessories and head torches.
