The Petzl PIXA 1 ATEX Zone 2/22 Head Torch is a tough, durable and reliable headlamp that keeps your hands free for work. The torch can be worn on your head, mounted on a safety helmet or placed on the ground. Chemical resistant, IP67 waterproof to 1 meter and ATEX Zone 2/22 approved and certified for use in hazardous environments.

The PIXA 1 headlamp uses CONSTANT LIGHTING technology - it's brightness does not decrease as batteries are drained. The torch has an easy to use rotating switch with two flood beam lighting modes (low and high). The low mode is suitable for close range work with a 20 lumen output and 10 meter range. The high setting is ideal for movement, with 60 lumen output and 15 meter range. The headlamp automatically switches to reserve mode when the batteries are almost drained (signalled by a blinking light).

Supplied complete with an elasticated head strap, a mounting plate for use with safety helmets and 2 x AA/LR06 batteries. The lamp can also be used with Hi-MH and lithium rechargeable batteries.
