The DuPont™ Tyvek® 500 Hood Accessory PH30L0 is a specially designed single use hood for use with the Tyvek® 500 range of limited life apparel. DuPont™'s range of Tyvek® accessories offer a superb balance of protection, durability and comfort. They provide an extra layer of protection for exposed body parts, which helps to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.

Tyvek® garments and accessories are made from flash spun, high density polyethylene with ultra low linting. Both sides of the hood are anti-statically treated to EN 1149-1 standard. The hood features a flange with elasticated face and neck openings for a secure and comfortable fit. It is permeable to both air and water vapour, but still effectively repels water based liquids and aerosols. It also gives excellent protection against a wide range of environmental hazards. This includes dust, fine particles and fibres down to 1 micron in size.

The Tyvek® hood is suitable for use in a wide range of health care and industrial roles. For example food processing, chemical protection, lead and asbestos removal, general repairs or maintenance work, spray painting, cleaning and more.
