Portwest RT31 High Visibility RIS Traffic Trousers are waterproof overtrousers designed for the railway industry. They are certified to the Railway Industry Standard RIS 3279-TOM and meet the stringent safety requirements the standard requires. They pair well with the Portwest RT30 High Visibility Rail Traffic Jacket.
The RT31 trousers are made from 300D Industry fabric (100% polyester with a stain resistant finish, double PU coated 190gsm). This fabric is extremely water resistant - water beads away from the fabric's surface. The trousers have a generous fit and an elasticated waist, so they are comfortable to wear. They also have side leg zips allowing them to be easily worn over trousers or jeans and zipped ankles for fitting over work boots. Easy to care for and machine washable up to 40°C. Tested and certified to European standards EN 343:2019 and EN ISO 20471 (for up to 50 washes).
